Superbru is an online platform that allows sports enthusiasts to predict match outcomes across various sporting events, including rugby, soccer, tennis, and more. Users can create leagues, compete against friends, and test their sports knowledge by making informed predictions.
To seamlessly guide users through prediction and scores, where each interaction is followed by an aesthetically pleasing interface.
Upon thorough analysis of Superbru's user experience, I identified significant pain points to enhance both functionality and interface of the app. I aimed for a modern aesthetic, drawing inspiration from popular sports apps like FotMob, theScore, and the Premier League app. Analyzing their interfaces provided valuable insights into industry standards, common features and user expectations. While Superbru's existing colour scheme of dark orange and navy blue provided a foundation, I recognized the opportunity to optimize its use. Initially considering the orange hue, I encountered challenges due to its harshness and potential clash with negative connotations associated with red icons. Consequently, I pivoted towards a light blue palette, distinguishing Superbru while infusing a positive and playful ambiance into the design. Using Figma, I went on to create wireframes and then redesign all sections of the app.
